Surefire Metsulfuron Methyl is a high-strength herbicide designed to control tough woody and broadleaf weeds. Suitable for use in native pastures, rights of way, forestry, industrial areas, and winter cereal crops, it delivers effective knockdown with long residual action.

Application Rates:

• Spot spraying: typically 5–10g per 100L of water
• Broadacre: up to 40g per hectare

Mixing and Compatibility:

• Mix with clean water and use a suitable surfactant or crop oil as needed
• Compatible with glyphosate, 2,4-D, dicamba, MCPA, and more
• Group B Herbicide: ALS (acetolactate synthase) inhibitor

Application Guidelines

• Apply to actively growing weeds
• Do not apply to stressed, dormant, or frost-affected plants
• Avoid spraying in windy conditions or before rain
• Use a surfactant for better results

Safety and Withholding

• Do not graze or cut for stock feed within 7 days of application
• Harmful to aquatic organisms; do not apply near water bodies
• Wear gloves and eye protection during mixing and application

Turf sensitivity warning

Do not use in high-maintenance turf areas such as golf greens, bowling greens, or highly maintained domestic turf. Metsulfuron Methyl can cause temporary or long-term yellowing, thinning, or growth suppression in sensitive turf species.

Turf species known to be sensitive or at risk of injury:

• Buffalo (Stenotaphrum secundatum)
• Kikuyu (Pennisetum clandestinum)
• Blue Couch (Digitaria didactyla)
• Ryegrass and Fescue blends
