Bulka Bag FAQ's

Bulka bags are typically 1m3 in size and rated for up to 1.5 tonne in weight. The physical dimensions when placed on the ground is roughly 1-metre x 1-metre. When full, they cannot be moved around site without either a machine or pallet jack.

All of our bulk products can be supplied by bulka bag with the exception of large stone or rock (larger than 150mm).

Delivery can generally occur within 48-hours. Although we do ask for a little more flexibility with bulka bag deliveries. The style and nature of flat bed truck deliveries (milk-run) makes it a bit harder to lock down specific times. We always call ahead and let you know we’re on the way. 

At this time deliveries on flat bed trucks occur Monday to Friday. The good news is you don’t need to be on-site to receive delivery. Leave us detailed instructions and we’ll take care of the rest!

We have 2 different types of trucks that can deliver bulka bags – crane or forklift. A crane truck can reach up to 10m from where the truck stops (provided there is enough space to extend the truck supports). This means they can place bags over fences or in tighter spaces. Forklift trucks require the same amount of space as a car and clearance above of around 3m. They can handle all terrain situations.

Delivery is included in the price displayed to Metro Brisbane suburbs. If you’re outside of this location, please get in contact with the team on 07 3373 4999 to discuss your delivery options.

Unfortunately, bulka bags are single use. Provided they have been filled via the approved method, bags can be lifted multiple time (unlimited provided they are in good condition) but they cannot be refilled by us. After you are finished they can be disposed of in the council bin or reused as a handy garden waste bag.
