Conversion Guide

Product Description

Mock Orange is an ever popular garden option around Brisbane because of its fast growth and hedging ability which makes it a perfect boundary screening plant. This evergreen shrub can be shaped and features wish green foliage and aromatic creamy white blooms during spring and summer or after rain (in the sub-tropics).
It is important to look for plants from reputable suppliers. These plants can be grown from either cutting or fruit. Cutting grown varieties feature less fruit reducing the risk of spread or infestation by bird or other animals into the bush.
Common / Botanical name: Mock Orange / Murraya paniculata
    Pot Size:140mm & 200mm

    Planting & Care:
Murrayas prefer a sunny position in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. To maintain a Murraya hedge, prune lightly two to three times a year in spring and summer. Give a final prune in autumn after flowering. Feed with a balanced well rounded fertiliser during spring. Requires moderate water once established. Seasonal rainfall on established trees is quite often sufficient, particularly in the sub-tropics.
An established Murraya can be cut right back to ground level and reshoot. This is particularly useful if a large shrub needs to be reshaped or trained.
Established Size: Up to 3m with a width of up to 3m
