Before purchasing Richgro Lawn Beetle and Grub Killa it is a good idea to check your lawn to make sure that you have lawn beetles or grubs.

Brown patches in lawn can be caused by other problems such as fungal diseases, water repellent soil (dry patch) or even over-application of fertiliser (burning of the lawn)

If you are not sure if you have lawn beetles or grubs the best way to find out is to pick a part of the lawn that has a brown patch, mix up some soapy water in a bucket and apply it to the edges of the brown patch, if you have beetles or grubs, they will surface after about ten minutes and will need to be treated.
