This years Best in Show winner of the Chelsea Flower Show was none other than Australia’s own Trailfinders Australian Garden presented by Fleming’s Nursery and designed by Phillip Johnson of Phillip Johnson Landscapes. The garden set out to showcase the beauty of the Australia’s natural landscape.
The garden was “Crafted to showcase the seamless transition between house and garden…” and the design aimed to “…challenge conventional garden design…” (Flemings)
With many amazing features, this garden consisted of a beautiful and natural billabong, waterfalls, a stone gorge and an architecturally designed studio to name a few.
The team at Phillip Johnson Landscapes have made history with their fantastic design, being the first Australian team to be awarded the coveted Best in Show medal in over 100 years.
The amazing garden took a total of 17 days to complete with over 2,500 man-hours put in. (Phillip Johnson Landscape)
