Composts that will Enrich your Existing Garden Top Soil and boost your Vegetable Patch

howmulchworks

Compost loosens clay soils and helps sandy soils retain water. Adding compost improves soil fertility and stimulates healthy root development in plants. The organic matter in compost provides food for microorganisms, which keeps the soil in a healthy, balanced condition. Nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus will be produced naturally by the feeding of microorganisms, so few if any, soil amendments will need to be added. However we strongly recommend you fertilise your garden soil when planting and on a regular basis thereafter to ensure your plant investment continues to thrive.

Choose from Three Types of Manufactured Compost…

Earthgrow Soil Conditioner Compost & Clay Breaker

Richly coloured finely textured organic mulch that is pH neutral and high in readily available nutrients. It’s a premium quality garden mulch and soil conditioner and will provide nutrient rich organic material to hard, dry top soil which will help create an ideal environment for earthworms and microbiological activity. The humus will help retain valuable moisture in the garden soil and assists in the control of weeds.

Mushroom Compost

Readily available and an old favourite as a cost effective source of natural compost. The pH of this mulch can become quite high (alkali) which just may cause problems for some plants. Use with caution, and we always recommend carefully checking all your plant requirements.

Enviro Premium Compost

It’s a natural alternative to chemical fertiliser. (BFA Registered. Complies with AS4454-1999 Compost, Soil Conditioners and Mulch.
